Pot Luck #57 Texting

I am still learning about texting. I just started a couple of months ago. So this training was very helpful. I did not know that there were websites that I could use to send text for free and websites where I can decipher the text message that my nieces and nephews send me. I think that texting and driving at the same time is very dangerous. Driving, walking, exercise requires all of your attention. You could get seriously hurt or seriously hurt someone else. Is it worth it?

Spring Cleaning # 30

I never used the "s" drive before. I saved a file to the "s" drive and then deleted it. It was not that hard. I have never saved files in the "p" drive but I do use files on that drive. On the "z" drive I organized the favorites folder and move some of the files to a flash drive. It is nice to have everything cleaned up, nice and neat and organized.

Spring cleaning # 28

After reading GTD, I realized I am not as organized as I would like to be. I have started using the 5 phases of the workflow process and it has helped me get better organized at work and at home. I now realized just how much more I can get done when you are better organized.
I have used the google calendar for some time now and have discovered Remember the Milk. I like the fact that I can add RTM to my google calendar.

Spring Cleaning #29

I have used this for the past couple of weeks with my work email and it has helped me get thing organized and cleaned out. I had over 500 emails and now I have everything in folders and organize my email daily. That is a good thing!

Week 10 #23

We finally made it! It was a very interesting experience. I have explored and learned quiet a few things that I would not have done on my own. I really enjoyed the Library Thing and the photo editing sites. Most of these exercises that we did have helped me organize and minimize my time on the computer. Thanks for this learning experience.

Week 9 #22

I tried our hcpl ebranch and also the LibriVox and the Wowio. I liked ours-hcpl- better. I tried a few of my favorite authors like Stephen King and Janet Evanovich and Sandra Hill and only our ebranch had books by these authors. I had no luck with LibriVox and Wowio.
